LogoLounge is a research and networking tool for graphic designers who create corporate identities. Each year a panel of judges chooses from thousands of logo designs and subsequently publish a book showcasing the “best of the best”. Sumack Loft has had one design chosen for this special honour each year for the past two years.
This year three of our designs made it in, including our own new logo. As lead brand designer, I am pretty darn stoked 😀
The Sumac berry is a staple for many birds and animals in North America. The new design depicts a starling carrying a sumac fruit aloft, representing our client’s brands breaking through, getting noticed, standing out. (Starlings are very meaningful here at the Loft, but that’s another story!)
2. North Star Retirement Coaching
Concept created for North Star Retirement Coaching. The curious whale turns in the ocean waters following the north star, staying true to its course. The design also forms the shape of a compass.
3. EkoBuilt Log Homes
Developed for a builder of high-performance log homes, this tree trunk with an enigmatic door represents holistic sustainability, the sense of living lightly within your environment.
It’s truly an honour to have our work featured in this publication and we are simply thrilled.
Award winning logo design based in southeastern Ontario, serving clients across North America and abroad.
