How we work

We’re a friendly team made up of brand design specialists, graphic designers, and web developers. We all have secondary skills that are valuable for our clients, such as illustration, animation, photography, marketing strategy, content writing, blogging, database design, tech support, etc.

Each project is approached with an open mind. We listen carefully and ask lots of questions. Creating a detailed plan for what you want to create or do will save money, time, and effort, and help to ensure your success in the long run.

AUNI MILNE
Founder, Creative Director, Designer & Illustrator

Auni leads brand, web, and illustration work with a focus on design that is both thoughtful and effective. She has deep expertise in logo development, and twenty-one of her marks have been recognized as award-winning selections in the international LogoLounge books, placing her work alongside designers from respected studios around the world.

Before founding Sumack Loft, Auni worked with global advertising agencies, experience that informs her process-driven and detail-oriented approach today. She grew up in Québec, studied at Beaux-Arts in France, and speaks French at an intermediate level.

ANNE TREMBLAY
Graphic Designer

Anne brings extensive experience in print communications, with particular strength in annual reports, brochures, and other corporate materials. She listens carefully and translates client needs into design that balances clarity, usability, and visual craft. She has a genuine love of editorial illustration and creates infographics and publication covers with the same care.

Anne is fluent in English and French, and her bilingual background adds nuance to every project. She approaches each assignment with curiosity, professionalism, and a commitment to thoughtful, effective design.

DAGNE FORREST
Technical Engineer, Writer & Editor

Dagne has more than 20 years of experience writing and editing content, developing websites, and managing web projects. She supports our clients with WordPress and social media training and ensures that each project functions exactly as it should.

She has deep expertise in all things web and is our go-to for WordPress development and behind-the-scenes code customizations. Dagne integrates graphics, styling, and technical precision so that every site reflects the design accurately and presents our clients’ work clearly and effectively.
