Carboneyes: An illustration done as a cover option for the July/August issue of Policy Options magazine. The cover story was regarding market based economic incentives to reduce carbon emissions, and how provinces are increasingly adopting cap-and-trade strategies.

Map of Almonte: The Town of Mississippi Mills (Almonte) commissioned an illustrated map of downtown Almonte for their Mainstreet Almonte Attraction and Promotion (MAAP) initiative. Client requested stylized illustrations of notable local architecture. An engaging, lively map illustration was developed with a fresh, cool colour palette and agreeable textures and typography.

Physical Health Education Canada: Illustrations created for a fellow design boutique in Kanata. Physical Health Education Canada put together a series of online tools to assess physical literacy in our education system. Fifteen illustrations were developed to help educators illustrate to children the processes required for each activity.

Doppelgänger: Originally developed as a cover option for the May/June issue of Policy Options magazine, the illustration was created to represent the polarization of wealth in Canada by referencing the doppelgängers found in Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities. The client loved the illustration and decided to have it in its own right within the article pages.

Hospital for Sick Children – Empower Reading Program: The Empower Reading program was developed by the Hospital for Sick Children and includes a suite of products that methodically address the learning needs of even the most differently abled reader. Bright accessible illustrations were created to invite young readers in, and over 200 simple black and white drawings were created for the various teaching tools engendered for this comprehensive program.
