Concept, art direction, copywriting, and design of sales team rewards program for Kellogg’s Food Services while working at Pi Media in Toronto. Salesfolk are encouraged to increase their sales with a program in which they can accumulate “tokens” which they use to collect rewards. “Earn Your Stripes” was developed as a tagline by yours truly, along with this fun die-cut folder to keep their materials.
For the last couple of years, Sumack Loft has been helping develop promotional and informational materials for Mississippi Mills Bicycle Month, a month-long celebration of the bicycle. Each year, bicycle-themed artwork by a local artist (in this example the piece is by Jennifer Noxon) is chosen to represent the celebrations and is folded into the print design of charming town and country vistas.
One of my favourite and most fun pieces to date, this brochure design was put together for Cree Tourism working with a fellow graphic designer and friend in a bid to win the contract for all materials. We narrowly missed being selected but we were reimbursed for our work and had loads of fun being just as creative as we wanted!
Concept, art direction, and design of recruitment posters for the Department of National Defense (while working at Pi Media in Toronto). Several concepts were presented, and while they picked a different design I created, this one was always my favourite with its energetic feel and bright colours.
Concept, art direction, and design of calendar for the Royal Bank of Canada (while working at Pi Media in Toronto). A compelling mosaic design was created for all image areas with beautiful stock photography, big aspirational words, and engaging quotations.
Concept, art direction, and design of logo and packaging for new Thermos product (while working at Pi Media in Toronto). Several concepts were presented, and while they picked a different design I created, this one was always my favourite with its edgy design and brilliant colours.
Business cards designed for sustainable seafood restaurant RedFish in Toronto (sadly now defunct). A background graphic was developed in the shape of waves with the texture of overlapped newspaper, a nod to traditional fish and chips. Logo was also designed at Sumack Loft.

Brochure designed a few years ago for New Global Vitamins. The client wanted a design that was fresh and natural feeling and which conveyed an established and professional business. A bright, fresh colour palette based on existing company branding was created, with graphics that reflect the natural world, and breathing room for each product.
Design and production of Kraft Food Services magazine (while working at Pi Media in Toronto). This publication was produced for quick service restaurants to promote Kraft’s fast and easy sweet products such as puddings, parfaits, and pies.
